Role in episode[]
Originally, Squidward was going to produce the commercial, but after Mr. Krabs sees that he has gone a bit extreme for him, he fires everyone else that Squidward hired, except the clown, although he does not appear in the commercial.
Even though he only made a 3-second cameo, SpongeBob is extremely satisfied to have seen himself on TV for the first time and is lead to believe he is now a celebrity among the whole town.

- Pearl: I've got all this money [shows money then throws them away] and I don't know what to do with it and I'm hungry.
- [Mr. Krabs is laughing off-set]
- Pearl: Who's there?
- Squidward: Where's that coming from?
- [Purple smoke appears; it is revealed to be Mr. Krabs.]
- Pearl and Squidward: Yippee, it's Mr. Krabs.
- Mr. Krabs: That's right, Amy. I heard all about your little problem and I'm here to help. Follow [points arm to his left] ... me!
- Squidward and Pearl: [outside the Krusty Krab] Where are we?
- Mr. Krabs: Why, we're at none other than the Krusty Krab.
- Amy: Did you say Krusty Krab?
- Mr. Krabs: That's right, Krusty Krab. Home of the world-famous [outside of the Krusty Krab is shown again] Krabby Patty!
- Squidward: What's a Krabby Patty?
- [Mr. Krabs' jaw drops]
- Mr. Krabs: Why, it's only the most mouthwatering appetizing food in the seven seas.
- Mr. Krabs: We start with a fresh patty, grilled and juicy. Add some crisp undersea veggies and cheese. Topped off with secret sauce and some buns. Voila! A Krabby Patty.
- Amy: I want a Krabby Patty.
- Jen: Me, too.
- Mr. Krabs: How do you like them Krabby Patties, girls? [laughs]
- Pearl and Squidward: [give a thumbs up. Mr. Krabs is still laughing.]
- Mr. Krabs: Two more satisfied customers. So why don't you come on in, and have yourself a Krabby Patty today.
