My overall experience with being at O’Farrell is that the Falcon way has a lot of respect on its name. I love the people at O’Farrell they are kind and respectful. My best experience at O’Farrell is the pep rally’s and the spirit weeks we get to participate with the school. I don’t think there’s any worst parts about O'Farrell. I would like to see more buildings and people showing kindness even when they don’t want to. Thank you so much

I liked my 4 years at O'farrell the school events were fun and the academics are really good I feel more prepared to go to college after going here with us doing more than what the California A-G requirement is needed.

I'd say the best experience that I've had with O'Farrell Charter School is the diversity that you engage in day to day, whether it be through students or through teachers and faculty. Everyone here has their own story and their own aspirations.

When I came to O’Farrell for my last year of high school, they welcome me with open arms! The teachers helped me with catching up when I was gone because I join O’Farrell on September 12, 2023 and I was FAR behind and they helped me a lot! Now that I’m in my second semester, I wanna do better with studies and not mess around! Yes I will go on field trips so I could learn what I could do later in life if I wanna change careers paths. But for now I rather stick with business. Students at O’farrell are kind but half aren’t really. Teachers might be strict, but help us for exams, quiz’s, and finals! The staff are always welcoming! The Sports game are very good and fun to watch, mostly the staff vs students! Safe to say, O’Farrell is the best school to pick for your high school experience!!

My overall experience within attending this school is it’s pretty small however it does provide students with the materials and support they need to be successful and attend college. It’s more academically focused than athletically. I believe the students receive great education the school has great teachers and great educational materials. However I do believe it needs more fun activities and freedom for students to actually have a real high school experience but this could also be because the school is small.

The best part about my experience at the O’Farrell Charter School is the diversity of students there. While many schools have a specific targeted race or gender or any specific cliché of students, I find that you can find almost any type of person at O’Farrell. As well as the amount of school activities helps each student bond with one another, an example would be our Homebase Olympics event that happens annually. This is a tradition at O’Farrell that any student can get excited for and sets the school different from others. The staff at O’Farrell make the experience much more enjoyable as well as they all have connections and bonds to the students. The worst part about my experience at O’Farrell is our strict guidelines, such as our dress code or attendance policy. The O’Farrell Charter School is a uniform school such as all students having to wear a belt, even if their pants fit perfectly, or if you even forget it by accident you get warned. My experience is unique here nonetheless.

I have been attending O'Farrell ever since I started first grade, and I must say, it feels more like a community and a home than just a school. Even though I am currently in high school, the counselors and teachers have gone out of their way to help me and the other students. I have had the opportunity to go on a college trip that was funded by the school, which was one of the best experiences of my life. During the two-day trip, we visited colleges like CSUN, UCLA, and Irvine. This shows O'Farrell truly cares about the students and wants us to succeed in our future. What's more, my AVID teacher had his own way of helping us out. He would provide us with school materials if we needed them. He always told us that he did not want us to buy anything, and that we could come to him for assistance. I have learned that this level of care and assistance is not the norm in other schools. O'Farrell has definitely set the bar high when it comes to investing in their students' success.

I have attended a total of four school years here at O'Farrell, and as I type this in the summer before my senior year, I can confidently say that even if given a redo chance, I would not have had my high school experience anywhere else. One of the best parts about it is its smallness. Other high schools out there are noticeably larger than O'Farrell, both in size and student body, but our rather little school gives us a heightened sense of a close-knit community. I've surely had my fair share of academic struggles throughout it, but that's practically inevitable at any high school for the average student. It can be a bit pressuring, as this school holds its students to high standards and aims to see them enrolled in a college by the end of their time here (preferably a 4-year university). While it can be hard, it's also hard to miss the fact that there are wonderful teachers and counselors who, speaking from firsthand experience, students adore and have grown nice relationships with.

I experienced Ofarrell through elementary, middle, and almost highschool. I had the best teachers and classmates and I've participated in a lot of sports and clubs. I would say from being in Ofarrell for a long time, it is my second home.

I like the O'farrell Charcte School because of the resources it provided such as AVID and career development where they have brought genuine graduates and people who have experience within their careers to give us advice. The high school brings lots of resources to the attention of students so that we get to have more opportunities. Not only that but we also have been provided with a program known as Outdoor Outreach where we get funded to be able to attend this program where they take make it an option whether or not to attend one of their outings for free. For example, they provide the school with kayaking, paddle boarding, snowboarding, hiking, rock climbing, and so much more. Furthermore, even though the high school is small it still brings more people closer together through its classes, clubs, and sports. Personally, a club I have been a part of has been Chess, Tea Club, Gardening Club, Crotchet Club, Mecha, and Mesa. Even if you're a newcomer you'd still be very much accepted.

I have been at O’farrell for well over 6 years, currently about to graduate this year. Throughout the 6 years here, there has always been a wide diversity of different ethnicities, decent food, good clubs, sports, activities after school, very prideful school spirit, and parents involvement overall. Although I sadly can’t say the same for the school safety, as of 3 accounts of gun on campus have been found, both middle and high school. The good side of this is staff does prepare students for after high school, whether it is military, jobs, college and so on.

The O'Farrell Charter School is an average school. The students are normal and mostly nice. The staff members are satisfactory. However, I believe some of the rules are unnecessary. We do wear uniforms, which I don't really mind. The school is very strict about things such as uniforms and bathrooms. Many things have changed throughout the time I have been here. For example, we were not allowed to wear colored jewelry or have colors other than black, white, or grey on our shoes, these things are now allowed. Overall, I think the school is a good school.

As a senior graduating from The O'Farrell Charter School my overall experience was pretty good. Considering the unavoidable circ*mstance of the pandemic in my freshman year to junior year, I feel that the school did an excellent job at adjusting in order to adapt to these circ*mstances, including reaching out to students by doing surveys, etc.

My experience at The O'Farrell Charter School has primarily just been focused on academics. That's what O'Farrell is all about, academics. For me personally, I'm a person who loves to collaborate with others and get involved with the community. O'Farrell lacks this. Despite the school's expectations of their students to perform well as individuals, they yet fall short when it comes to teaching students soft skills and life lessons that will apply to their future. What I did enjoy was my experience in the high school, they offer dual enrollment courses. Though there are very few courses, students get to experience first-hand what would be expected of them in a college course while still being in high school. It really teaches them time management, communication, and so much more. I would like there to be a change when it comes to the arts department. Many students are talented and created and O'Farrell doesn't cater to this group of students.

I would say the overall experience throughout The O’Farrell Charter School is very demanding but also knows how to have fun & breaks at times. The objective of throughout Highschool is to apply for a 4 year university with all the other options given 0 to little recongition. Uniform guidelines, pressure, and lack of funding for school clubs & sports and would be the downsides of this high school experience but makes up for it with constant reminders of tutoring being available from morning till afternoon & academic support being found all over campus.

Good school, only thing I would suggest changing is the substitute teachers. They're all clueless and get in the way when trying to learn.

The O'Farrell Charter School is a very close-knit oriented community. I have been attending this school since middle school and have never felt harmed or threatened. Due to the small size, it allows more bonding and relationships between staff and students. Teachers and staff overall highly encourage the students to try their best and to aim for the stars. I have created many bonds with multiple of my teachers and they have created a safe space. At O'Farrell, academics are highly favored over sports. O'Farrell makes sure that you graduate with your A-G requirements so that we are college ready. Throughout my years here, I have highly enjoyed the opportunity that O'Farrell provides for their students.

The O'Farrell Charter School has given me a unmatched experience. Growing up with most of the students in the school has given me a chance to form bonds with people I've been with for years. The teachers do their best to make sure the students are in a safe space. You're able to create bonds with the teachers and have a place to come visit.

This school feels like a schedule that does not change. We do the same things every week and it gets '"exciting" when we do activities other than academics. The school puts a lot of pressure on academics but the activities can be fun and refreshing. These need to happen a little more because if we go a long time without them the energy and school spirit are very poor. The high school is relatively new so that would explain why we are not the best at sports but when you are in a sport it can be really fun with the new friends you make. If we are talking about college readiness I'd say this school has it, somewhat better than average public schools but being a small school it limits how much farther it can take you. The teachers work a lot to help their students, but some need a little encouragement. Almost all the students are well-mannered and welcoming. This school does give you once-in-a-lifetime experiences like international trips, bonding trips, and so much more.
